I attended a prayer meeting convened by Palace church on Friday night 09/25/20. At the close of the meeting, pastor Akin jokingly gave me a word regarding a job application that I had been denied for. He said, “go back there, there is an opening for you.” It felt like a joke as we all laughed about it. To the glory of God, on Thursday, 10/01/20, I got an email that the spot has opened for me. I applied immediately. I am excited and looking forward to what God has in store for me in the future. Thank you Jesus.

Glory to God, I got my first major break into academic publication. I had been waiting all year trusting God that a major journal will pick my work. When I attended the September prayer meeting that pastor called, I did not really ask God for that breakthrough. However, pastor asked everyone to listen out for what God will tell us and he assured us that God was going to speak to us. It happened; God spoke to me about being published immediately. Mind you it was a weekend and for such publication acceptances, the weekend seemed somewhat out of place. When we finished pastor said some of us will receive the manifestation of our answer on that same day. For me, my prayer got answered in the car I took on my way home. My work was selected by a major journal.?
