(1) About the Bible: We believe in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God and that the scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God written through men that were moved by the Spirit of God.
(2) – About God: We believe there is one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, authority and glory.
(3) – About Jesus: We believe Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit, being the virgin-born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again bodily, and ascended to the Father, and that is only through Jesus we are reconciled to God.
(4) – About the Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit dwells, seals, sanctifies, teaches, and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ. He also gives us spiritual gifts, empowering us for service.
(5) – About Man: We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became separated from God through disobedience.
(6) – About Salvation: We believe that salvation is by faith in Jesus alone and not by works. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
(7) About the Church: We believe that Jesus is the head of the church and that we are the body. The purpose of the church is to bring the gospel to the world. The members of the church are those who have trusted Jesus as their Lord and savior.
(8) About the second coming of Jesus: We believe in the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ for his bride, the church.
(9) About Heaven: We believe those who are saved by Jesus Christ will spend eternity with Christ in heaven and that those who do not personally receive the finished work of Christ by faith will spend eternity separated from God in a state of conscious torment.
(10) – About Satan: We believe there is a real devil who in reality and personality seeks to deceive, tempt, kill, steal and destroy, and that he is the god of this world, the enemy of God and men.
(11)- About Marriage: We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in
a single, exclusive union, as stated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other.
(12) – About treating Others: We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Palace Church.
